For 12 years I have been trying every premium food I can to feed my super picky chihuahua. So far so good with this food. She's eating it although I still have to mix in a little turkey lunch meat and cheese to get her to eat it. Now she doesn't just pick out the bad for her human lunch meat, but eats it all. (It has also helped that the cat has moved away so she no longer refuses her food in hopes of getting cat food leftovers - so for you that think giving your dog a little cat food is OK, I can tell you it causes problems!). I follow Sue Thixton's Truth About Pet Food blog and every year she puts out a list of the best foods and sidebyside is on it. Check that out and subscribe to her blog to find out what's really going on in the pet food (feed) industry and the failures of AAFCO to ensure our pets are fed healthy nutritious food not feed. (I have no affiliation with Sue Thixton other than admiration for her quest.)
